As far as I understood, RENAULT has in some of its facilities
(Boulogne/Billancourt or Flins, for example) "museums" where they keep a lot of its historic legacy.
There we can found not only production models but also mock-ups and prototypes that never went ahead for production.
I think that these "museums", despite its valuable and interesting collections, can not be properly
considered as such since they are not normally open to the public and some are not properly organized
for the display of vehicles. This is, I believe, the case of Flins which is more a car
"warehouse" than a museum.
Nevertheless, some visits have been allowed to these sites, particularly to automobile clubs
or associations, and for sure that these sporadic openings have been of undeniable interest
for the brand fans and among motor sport lovers in general.
The images below were taken on one of these visits and show one of the first Renault 5 along with some other
precious vehicles.
